I admit I love water torture. Unfortunately, I rarely get to do it. A dominant needs a special dungeon to do water torture.
What makes water torture so torturous is rather obvious. If you dunk a submissive’s head under water and hold it there, that’s pretty frigging torturous. They’re wondering if we’re going to let them drown. Of course, their rational mind knows we aren’t, but when you don’t have the freedom to breathe, panic can erupt. A good dominant knows just how far to push a submissive.
Because of this, I think water torture, incorporating breath play, should only be used between two people who have played together many times before. In that way, a lot of trust and good communication skills have built up over time. Plus, the dominant is better able to read the submissive’s cues better, so as not to push a submissive too far while doing water torture.
